It all started with the music counter. It was in my grandmother’s music store in the small Bavarian town where I grew up. The assortment ranged from sheet music to musical instruments of all kinds to LPs. The wooden counter with its shiny red shellac surface was the heart of the store. Here, music lovers could listen to records through headphones. I did my homework behind the music counter and then helped my mother and grandmother in the store.
The rich variety of musical genres I was exposed to there deeply influenced me and became ingrained in my subconscious from an early age. Over the years, my love for music has only grown stronger, and I am delighted to once again be surrounded by music at DNA MUSIK.
My focus is on sales, marketing, and the implementation of creative projects. I enjoy the artistic and lively environment as well as working with all the interesting people. I also see myself as an interface between filmmakers and musicians. It simply gives me pleasure to see how our music helps tell stories and convey the emotions of a film or audio production.
Incidentally, the music counter is now in my living room – still with a record player and speakers behind it. With that in mind: “Keep on rocking!”
